here is my new ride. 1974 with 5 speed conversion, short throw shifter, lowered with Blistiens, rear shock brace, sunroof, and a new 160 horse motor being built with custom cam and what not. Fun fun car. sorry phone camera pics. better ones to come

Wow, that's a neat little car. Is that the first BMW ever made? Seriously though, what year did BMW first start making cars??

Um i think it was founded in like 1922 they sold motorcycles and they were a airplane company IIRC. They started selling cars around 1929. I know that one of BMW's first popular cars was the Isetta. It was first made in like 1955 after the war it was really why BMW still exits today!

Nice. I've been looking for a while now too... It seems that the 2002s I do find are a big rust bucket though. I'd like to restore one that doesn't have a ton of cancer on it.

Looks like I will be buying one tomorrow. Going to pay for it but I will have to set up towing arrangements this week. I will try and take some pictures to post. Can't wait!
