And I don't mean the music you listen to on roadtrips to grandma's house either. I'm talking about the times that you go out driving at 3:00a.m. with no destination in mind. The times that you take everything out of your car that isn't strapped down before you leave the driveway, check your tire pressures, turn the detector on city mode and head to your favorite back-roads.
I like to listen to techno/house mixes. Sandstorm by Darude is probably one of my favorites. When I'm Autobahning down the highway to mom's house or something I like to blast Rammstein.

I would have to say it's a mixture of whatever is on my flashdrive!

I like classical when I'm just cruising, or smooth jazz. That's always pleasing.

I like hard rock, rock, metal, thrash when I'm going 11/10ths on the open roads or the highways.

When I'm in the twisties, hitting switchbacks harder than you can possibly imagine . . . .I like a dash of eurobeat, LMAO! I'm gonna die alone! ROFLMAO!

Seriously though, if I'm just cruising, I like old school hip-hop, jazz, rock, ballad, I mean, pretty much whatever happens to queue up on the media player.

Gah, I am so not cool anymore. I'm with you, Wayne, wtf are these guys posting?? ;)

I like blasting Fergie's cd lately, I'm recently re-discovering my Del Amitri collection, John Hiatt always works (Come on, baby, drive south...), and I remember when I was a little younger I loved to blast Depeche Mode's "Violator" album.... I've been thinking of that disc lately, I need to dig it out and add it to my changer.

Get on LimeWire or Bearshare or whatever you use and search for Tiesto. Download anything by him and listen to it. You'll like it.

Wayne, I LOOOOOVE Rush, I'm the biggest Rush fan you know! My first concert ever was Rush in the Omni, April 1986. Blue Oyster Cult opened up for them.

When I am in the M5, its basically ALL trance music. I love it. Best driving music.

LOL The mental picture I have of you rocking out to some AC/DC in that E28 is awesome. You should definitely hang some fuzzy dice in the mirror.

+ 1 for Sandstorm. I guess i'm the different enthusiast. I like the most hardcore rap I can find, windows down, winding mountain road...All alone, music up, engine revving, there is nothing better...

hahahha. we mess with our friends all the time using that site. Text people with, "hey go to www.cupgirls.com, i'm pretty sure we went to school with this girl, tell me if you recognize her." The reactions are hilarious. The most disgusting thing i've ever seen in my entire life.

2 girls 1 cup and meatspin are probably two of the most disturbing things ever...but funny to leave as someone's homepage when they dont expect it.

Driving music: pretty much anything. Depends on the mood, the day and the destination. Sometimes some old classic rock, other times some rap

Sometimes the Dead. Sometimes 311 or Wolfmother. Allman brothers or Gov't Mule...or some Beastie Boys. Sometimes I listen to the comedy stations on XM.

Once in a whille, I hit some really fantastic mountain roads for a late nite blitz, for that I almost always listen to whatever is on the techno station on XM.

lol @ this thread

I listen to everything when I'm driving.. Sandstorm pssh so old! If you like listen to some breaks, listen to this (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xJxPJAyZSZ8)! this is good stuff as well... dj baby anne :P

tiesto , 4 strings, blah blah I've got like... 10 gigs of trance/techno, 8 of hip hop, 4 rock/heavy, 1-2 of everything else.

When I drive fast (which is rarely-nothing above 80 usually) I listen to nothing but the sound of my V1 :icon18:

OT: Ever since I stopped driving like a maniac, I've been blessed. 32,000 miles on tires that Geordie sold me! Toyo R1s!

Several years ago when the movie XXX came out got into Rammstein after hearing the song http://youtube.com/watch?v=nHWicNDkbpw . Now it is a regular in my driving line up. That got me into Megaherz http://youtube.com/watch?v=E2JhjQETO-Y . My other 2 that are regular in my line up http://youtube.com/watch?v=iuwkTtowshA I have most everything they ever put out on CD or DVD. There is always my Momentary lapse of reason http://youtube.com/watch?v=C89u2bmn1aI&feature=related .

As above, when driving when driving fast turn the sound down on the music only listen to the sound of the V1 and the car.

Oooh, Ace of Spades, love that song! I've got a live version by Del Amitri, they do a surprisingly good rendition. Tons of people have re-recorded that song, but I know the original is always the best.
