Drove it today...feels solid. Taking it to Touring Car in Matthews, NC on Monday for an inspection. Owner and I have agreed on price, my 4runner should sell on Monday as well and if the inspection goes ok I will be the proud new owner of an unmolested Dakar Yellow 99. :)

It's gorgeous! I haven't seen that color before, never thought I would like it in a BMW but it's cute on this car. Then again, an M3 like that would probably look good in any color. Nice find!

Thanks guys...Its crazy, I announced I had sold the 4runner on my local 4x4 forums and now my trail rig is almost 100% parted out!

Hoping to add a UUC ShortShifter w/ DSSR/ clutch stop and DTM corner splitters to it once I pick it up.

Good looking car for sure. But yellow is the most visible in the light spectrum so it might attract the police. It will sure draw attention to it though.

it is statisically the safest color too though, and easiest to find in parking lots!

Funny story about that car...

Another kid up here in Boone ended up buying it. I passed on it for numerous reasons, mainly the dealer being shady about me taking it to my guy in Charlotte to get it checked out.

Kid buys it, drives it for about 1k miles and it starts throwing codes, has the typical power steering leak and then the clutch came apart. Its been a total problemcar for him.
