LMAO - thanks guys, all of you. i spoke to mitch this weekend and i think he might have sensed the fact that i was extremely apprehensive about this surgery (i dont do hospitals, shots, or blood very well) even though it was only an hour-long OP procedure. i was passed out most of the day and am now on some painkillers.

everything went well and according to plan, i had a polyp excised from my vocal chords - so i cant speak for the next couple days. but i am expected to make about a 98 percent recovery of my voice, which is excellent.

thanks to you all - and you can bet that i will be at our next meet, planning on bringing the new sexy ass 540 and a blonde. i promise i will show up as the token persian / hosselhoff!

lol, thanks philip. your kindness knows no bounds. actually, i should be able to speak in the next few days. i tried today, and it hurts, so i stopped. im off of work today and i think i wont take my meds so i can go cruising in the new car. it will be a nice day - just a silent one!

and when i did speak this morning, it sounded REALLY odd - kinda like a girly-man version of me doing a steven hawking impression at the onset of puberty. i just hope i dont sound like an idiot. if so, i think im going to rupture my chords again just to have a badass voice like before and deal with the pain. yeah, that sounds like a good plan.

and seb, it was your idea to remove it anyway.....
