Hey everyone well recently i noticed my driver side taillight was out, so no problem I thought, and got new bulbs..but still no tail lights, now mind you the brake lights work. Also my driverside parking light is out but the headlight and blinker and all works. Any ideas as to what the problem is? my obc has been saying the brake circuit is bad like most of the e36's end up doing, but its been on before this happened and I'm not sure why only the tail and parking light dont work but everything else on that side? Well any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

same thing happen to me a few monthes back. sounds like a similiar situation, for me the cause was the on/off dial for my lights

Check the bulb socket contacts and the tail light itself. E36's will burn the contacts when they get old. A new tail light assembly may be what you need.
