850 Convertible

This morning I saw a black 850 convertible with a black top while dropping my daughter off at school. I never expected to see that in the carpool line! It looked ok, but I always prefer coupes over convertibles. The soft top just ruins the line for me.

You saw a very rare car! It is obviously not factory, but rather work done by a coachbuilder. Could have been a Straman job or even the rare Koenig Custom! GREAT sighting!

For sale 19,000 and it's yours. I looked at it for my wife. Interesting car. Top job was very good amature job. Very good, but still amature. Car had supports built under it, but it was kinda scarey looking. Really bad TV monitor in passenger area install. Still to drive down the road in a drop top 850 did feel like a million bucks (minus the door squeeks due to flex)

There's a guy that brings this green 850ci with some awful hack-job convertible roof here to Global. I cringe every time I see it.
