Not aftermarket/drag cars. Production cars from Bugatti to Mercedes. I will never own one(unless I get a long shot on the lottery and win), but I still like to look at them even if it is just a picture.

Stig, could you lock or remove this thread. My car lust had me post it up before thinking about the date the list was made. Will do my best not to do it again.

No worries, still a good read.
Interesting the jag is on there. Simply amazing looking car, but from what I hear its also up there on the list of most dangerous cars to drive.
And I think I heard there is a 1000hp S7 now as well...

What!! an 1987 635csi isnt on the list WTF?
Interesting that the Mclaren is the fastest normally aspirated car (6.0L BMW V12), is 13 years old, and also employs no movable aerodynamic aids as does the Veyron with a few hundred more hp.
Whats also interesting is that the car was designed by my countryman Gordon Murray of Brabham F1 fame:):):)
He designed the 4-cyl turbo car that took Nelson Piquet to the championship in it's first full F1 season, and also designed the infamous fan car that was outlawed because it was so fast............

Yes I believe that BMW turbo 4 cylinder first showed up in a Olivetti livery F1 car Alan?? Am I right? Murray is amazing, the F1 is still outrageous to this day. Hard to believe its 13 years old!

This car had the Paul Rosche designed 1.5L 4 banger that made over 1300 hp on the engine dyno. The engine block was a sleeved M10 production casting. They used "seasoned" blocks with over 50 000km on them, a huge turbo, Motorsports F1 cylinder head with no throttle plate.
