For the past seven years the Georgia Triumph club - the cars, not the cycles -has sponsored a year end drive. They call it the "Polar Bear Run" and it takes place the last Satruday of the year, December 29th. This year it heads South to Warner Robbins and a tour of the U.S. Air Force Museum.
The bulk of vehicles is made up of British marques, Triumph of course, MG, Lotus and Sunbeam to name just a few.
I've done this rally a few times, its a blast!
Lets have a large showing of Club Bimmer members!

Does it involve skinny-dipping in a sub-zero lake? Count me out, cuz I can't swim. ;)

Nope no skinny dipping, unless you absolutely want to. :)

My wife and I have made the run with them the last two years. Two years ago it was to Helen and last year to Birmingham and the Barber Track.
Nice folks and lots of fun. It is a pleasure to see the old British cars clipping along.

Nah, there's probably not enough water in the lakes around here anyway. I was only kidding. My brothers do that Polar Bear Club thing in the middle of winter in Lake Michigan. Yuck, it's not for me!
But this drive sounds great. I would love to tour the Air Force museum. We'll have to check our schedules. Thanks for sharing!
