LSU 2 loss came in 3rd over time. In the old system LSU would be 10-0-2 and if ranked would be 1 or 2. He also stated that his team beat more ranked teams then the teams that are above them in the poll. And something about no team beat them in the 60min game time.

Missouri beat 3 ranked teams
West Virginia beat 3 ranked teams
Ohio State beat 3 ranked teams
Georgia beat 4 ranked teams
Kansas beat 1 ranked team
Virginia Tech beat 2 ranked teams
LSU beat 5 ranked teams

I think the team was not ready becuse of the Michigan issue. A real downfall for a group of guys that should act as if there in the pros. Don't think the BCS will change anything even if he dose make an interesting point.

All I know is I'd like to see LSU play UGA, AT UGA! :)

Dude, my little sister lives in Monroe...which is within spitting distance of Athens. Party at my sister's place??

I think he does bring up a very common point in a seemingly flawed system. I agree that they play, hands down, in the most difficult conference. Put Kansas in the SEC and see if they have a 1 loss season.

Right. Problem is in a perfect world everybody would win. Sorry Les, quit crying and accept the fact that your team is not the best on every Saturday and sometimes the better team can be beat. Go Dawgs!

The 174 poll voters and handful of computer nerds whose calculations make up the BCS rankings probably all have their own reasons. Among the best is that LSU was rewarded for winning the Southeastern Conference, which is traditionally viewed as one of the toughest leagues in the nation.

There's also the argument coach Les Miles and athletic director Skip Bertman offered up Saturday night: The Tigers went undefeated in regulation this season -- their two losses both coming in triple overtime.

LSU VS Ohio State
Guess he made his point to the people who do the polls

Bet there are a lot of people across the country that want a playoff about now. Not getting there shot to play in that game.->Hawaii, USC, Oklahoma, Georga, Virginia Tech, and Kansas. Even Missouri and West Virgina.
Don't get why Illinois got the rose bowl bid over Arizona State.

Yeah there are a couple that surprised me. Why Illinios and why Kansas? I hope Tech blows Kansas away. Missouri deserved it more than Kansas.
