Not barn finds - but close to it!
My uncle Keith gave me a lead on a dealership in Kenton, Ohio with a bunch of cool cars and motorcycles. So while in Ohio for Thanksgiving we stopped by Brims Imports in Kenton.
The first thing I noticed when pulling up was a 1960 Austin Healy 3000 sitting in the window. As I walked up to the store I saw a lot of cool old Ducati's, sports cars, and other motorcycles. Ralph Brim warmly greeted us and began to give us the tour. Besides the Healy, the showroom had a couple of old Jag sports cars, a beautiful Mercedes Benz 280SL, and several old motorcycles in great condition.
In the show they had a nicely restored 1957 Corvette, a 1962 project Corvette, a beautiful Challenger being restored with a big Hemi. They were just unloading a 1964 Corvette roadster that they bought. It had not be started in 4 years because the owner passed away. It looks pretty nice to me.
He took us across the street and showed us a prototype Porsche 944 that was built by ASC. It has just a few miles on it and the rear end was very cool looking. They also had a Cobra kit car, a 1952 MG TD, a factory Turbocharged Fiat spyder, a Challenger R/T, and many cool Ducati's, BSA's, etc.
In another building we saw a cool old Chrysler, an old Subaru, a Lotus Elan in bad shape (but runs good!), a nice Corvette roadster, a 1969 Camaro Z28, and many cool motorcycles including a perfect Honda 350 4-cyl. I didn't take my camera, so here's some pictures that Mike took.
These guys don't have a website and I'm sure Mike will have more to add to the story. I wish I had more than a few minutes to spend there, but we were heading back home and didn't have a lot of time.
