I woke up to snow this morning. I took the day off from work hoping to catch up on yardwork and playtime with Madzilla...and instead I get to deal with a solid dusting of the white stuff.

Well, now most of the snow is gone, which is good. But, it's still colder than a well-digger's ass up here. And I have another 4-5 more months to go before the summer tires go back on the GTI.

As for the big parking lot full of snow, meh. I trashed my Audi's transmission doing that, and put some serious hurt on my wife's CR-V. I've got enough experience that I got over it in high school. It's really terrible for your transmission and drivetrain. Like, really bad. mmmmmkay?

Mitch, it's only romantic to be trapped with the wife during the FIRST snowstorm. After the first time the shine leaves that apple pretty quickly and it just becomes another opportunity to get stuff done around the house.
