Those are both some great-looking cars! It's great how Bimmers only get better with age. :)

Alright, since we're doing E34 porn, here was mine, '95 540i/6 (1 of 1357..:) ) before some idiot ran into her 3 months ago..:( I was just going to get the EAT chip and Euro Ellips installed on her too..
Click this linky (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showpost.php?p=9919451&postcount=1).. Files too large and too lazy to resize. :)

Very nice E34s. Those Style 66 wheels are awesome. I plan on getting another set for my E34. Black is hot also.

I agree, those are some of the best looking OEM wheels on the E34. I miss that car. It was such a great car.

Wow, nice! I never would have thought red wheels would look good, but it's really kinda cool!
But then I saw it after being prepped for its new home... stunning!
*sigh* These stupid cars sure are addictive, aren't they? Luckily for my wallet (or lack thereof) I only have a two car garage. I wouldn't dream of leaving one out in the elements, so we can't get another one.
(unless of course we move......)

Sebastian: Love it! Now, what year is that? In the rear it looks a little more modern like sometime in the 90's but the front (grille, headlights, etc.) looks more like the late 80's. I really love that car! Sorry to see the boo-boo. :( Is that why you sold it?
Thanks :)

Sickness, yes! That's what it is! Sometimes I think wistfully about a more innocent, carefree time when I drove an Explorer.... no expensive mods, no wanting a second Explorer as a project car, no pricey upkeep.... Then I think how boring that car was (practical, but boring).
And there's not a Club Explorer that I know of... I can't imagine what they could possibly talk about if there were. "Who's tires have blown out at high speeds yet?" "How many dog crates can you fit in your Explorer?" "How many Bimmers passed you on the way to work today?"
Nah, I'll stick with my 528iT, practical and cool. ;)

Nah didn't sell it, insurance declared it a loss, cut me a check.. bittersweet...
It was a 1995 540i/6 (w/black grills) one of only 1357 imported to the US. :(

That thing is awesome!
Where the hell do you find these uber rare cars?!
On a side note, I might be in need of your services. A friend of my girlfriend has an '01 beetle turbo that had "a throttle go out" whatever that means, and I was volunteered to fix it after CarMax quoted her $900. I don't even know where to begin on a 1.8t so I was hoping you might be able to point me in the right direction when I get more info on the car. I haven't seen it yet.
