I found another cool Bimmer on Craigslist, this one is in Boston. I love CL, it's just something I browse through when I have time to kill. Hope you all don't mind if I post some interesting finds on here from time to time.

This one is a 1975 BMW 2002 for $6K:

Well just think 95K miles with that much rust sitting in a garage. Engine rebuilt at 65K why? Did the clock roll over? Sounds funny.

Yeah, but in 1975, you were stylin' in that beauty!

TODAY'S FIND (technically, it's almost the next day ;) ):

This guy is looking for a Bimmer or Benz for around $10K to trade for this vehicle, that is if he doesn't sell it outright. NOTE: Tim is seriously considering trading Seven, so if you're interested you'd better act now!

3k eh?

3k, on the nose . . . ^_^

He's a really nice guy, drives the car a little hard, but definitely makes up for it with maintenance and repairs, LOL!

Great guy though, wish I could be him sometimes. He took me for a ride once, that 4liter is a monster, he keeps saying something about a 2001 swap with upgraded pistons, rods and oversized valves from a 4.4 . . . .something about a Nikasil recall . . . .ehhh . . .all I know is, the guys car is quick . . .it's purty too :p

LOL!

You must have missed post #11. A MUCH better choice for you, Mitch. No real collection would be complete without it. ;)

Oh man....my wife would be sooooooo pissed......:)

With my old E30 she grew to hate the car because I focused so much time and energy on it.

But....I've always wanted an '02...and she knows this......

Reviving this thread with a new find for those of you who are E30 sedan lovers (note, this is in Phoenix): http://phoenix.craigslist.org/car/493649216.html

I love this line: "I have personally installed... a new Roundel hood emblem..." Wow, a real gear-head, that one!

(just kidding, really.... I probably couldn't even install a Roundel so I shouldn't make fun of him :) )
