and the leaves just turned, so i got one with them too:

i also snapped a few to show what i spent all night and the early morning doing: i blacked out the chrome molding/bumper trim all the way around. and before anyone asks, i love the window trim as it provides a nice contrast, and i am keeping it chrome. i just wanted the body to flow better.

Good work on the chrome removal. Now you need the 4x4 stance removal. :)

Great pics! I love the artsy photos like the one you took with the sky reflected in the hood. Must be nice to have a shiny car.....

Yay on blacking out the chrome! I bought all my supplies yesterday and I'm planning on doing mine next week. Was it difficult? It really looks nice, it's amazing how such a small change can make a difference.

Thanks for sharing!

thanks to everyone on the compliments. and yes, i know it needs a drop.

cat, its not too hard at all - its just tedious.

when i was pulling the trim off of the car, i used my fingers instead of a screwdriver, mostly because the trim pieces are INCREDIBLY malleable, and if you arent careful, you will bend the hell out of them when taking them off, and then have a hell of a time making them straight again.

be careful not to break any of the grommets while pulling it off- dont move it at an angle, just pull away from the car.

also, you may want to use a primer or something like an adhesion promoter. it helped me, and even then i still put like 6 or 7 light coats of paint (to hide the chrome well enough). then throw it back on after it dries.

and mitch, the headlights are still probably the single largest difference-maker on the car that i have done. from stock to these its like night and day, and it looks soooooo sweet. id say HIDs are a must though - i didnt get them, but i should have originally. ill probably throw them in at some point.

and yes, the first pic is my desktop on all of my computers!

thanks fellas. the first one was really kind of an accident. i was taking pictures to show the trim that i blacked out all the way around, and in the front i was like "damn this glare" and then the clouds parted (literally) and i saw the perfect photo op.

ill have to take some really sweet photos to top this one. damn - i think i just plateaued as a photographer. thats actually kind of depressing.
